Design and materials. The upper is crafted from soft suede or nubuck leather, depending on the color you choose, for a warm, velvety texture that feels cozy and looks polished. The heel strap fastens with an individually adjustable metal pin buckle so you can dial in the fit. Below, a natural rubber outsole with cork elements provides cushioning and grip, so the Lutry is ready to step outside as easily as it handles a lazy morning at home.

Footbed and comfort. Inside is the original contoured footbed, a removable, anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed that molds to your foot with wear. A soft suede footbed lining sits against your foot, and the footbed is made in Germany. Because it is removable, the footbed can be replaced down the road, which helps a favorite pair last.

How to style it. The Lutry Premium sits right between slipper and shoe. Pair it with flannel-lined pants and a quarter-zip on a chilly weekend, with corduroys and a wool sweater for a casual dinner, or with joggers and a hoodie for a coffee run. Thick socks make it extra cozy in fall and winter, and the open-back option keeps it easy when you are moving between the kitchen, the garage and the deck.

Care tips. Use a suede brush regularly to lift dirt and refresh the nap on suede or nubuck, and treat spots with a cleaner made for those materials. Let your clogs air dry naturally if they get damp, away from direct heat. A suede and nubuck protector spray can help guard against moisture and stains before you wear them out.

Finding your fit: BIRKENSTOCK uses whole EU sizes, so if you usually wear a half size in US sizing, the next size up is the safer choice. Regular width is the roomier fit, while Narrow offers a slimmer fit through the foot; check the size selector to see which widths are offered for this style.
